Teenage Prescription Addiction: Kolina’s Story
Nearly every child will be offered drugs or alcohol before graduating high school; three out of four will say yes. Most teens see little risk in popping pills without a prescription; and most parents put blinders on when it comes to thinking about their kids and drugs.
But, every day 2,500 kids aged 12 to 17 try a painkiller for the first time; one in four will become hooked. Kolina is one of them; this is her story.
